At Sound Concept, we stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties and guarantees. We are committed to providing you with the highest quality automotive audio installations and ensuring your complete satisfaction.
1. Lifetime Workmanship Warranty
What's Covered: All installation work performed by Sound Concept technicians is covered by our lifetime workmanship warranty. This includes:
- All wiring and electrical connections
- Component mounting and securement
- System integration and configuration
- Custom fabrication work
- Sound dampening installation
- DSP tuning and calibration
Duration: For as long as you own the vehicle
Eligibility: This warranty applies only to the original vehicle owner.
2. Product Warranties
All products installed by Sound Concept come with their manufacturer's warranty. We will assist with warranty claims when possible for products we installed.
Common Product Warranty Periods
- Speakers: 1–5 years (varies by manufacturer)
- Amplifiers: 1–3 years (varies by manufacturer)
- Head Units: 1–2 years (varies by manufacturer)
- Subwoofers: 1–3 years (varies by manufacturer)
- DSP Processors: 1–2 years (varies by manufacturer)
- Installation Accessories: 1 year
3. Warranty Claim Process
To file a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Call 845-623-2362 or visit our shop.
- Provide Documentation: Bring your original receipt and any product packaging (when required by the manufacturer).
- Describe the Issue: Explain the problem you're experiencing.
- Schedule Inspection: We'll schedule a time to inspect the issue.
- Repair or Replace: We'll repair or replace covered items at no cost to you.
Important: Warranty service requires the original receipt. If additional costs may apply (e.g., due to non-warranty issues), we will contact you only if costs exceed $85 unless an estimate is requested in advance.
4. What's NOT Covered
Our warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, or impact
- Damage from water, flood, or other environmental factors
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or improper operation
- Damage from unauthorized modifications or repairs
- Normal wear and tear on consumable items (fuses, connectors, etc.)
- Damage from power surges or electrical issues not related to our installation
- Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality
- Damage from theft or vandalism
- Products not installed by Sound Concept
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction with our work. If you're not completely satisfied with any aspect of our installation or service, we will:
- Address your concerns promptly and professionally
- Make necessary adjustments at no additional cost
- Provide additional training or explanation if needed
- Work with you until you're completely satisfied
6. Performance Guarantees
We guarantee the performance of our installations:
- Sound Quality: Your system will perform as specified in our consultation.
- Integration: All components will work seamlessly together.
- Reliability: Your system will operate reliably under normal conditions.
- Factory Integration: OEM features will be preserved where possible.
7. Custom Work Guarantee
For custom fabrication and installation work:
- All custom work is guaranteed to fit properly
- Custom panels and enclosures are guaranteed for structural integrity
- Custom wiring harnesses are guaranteed for proper function
- All custom work includes our lifetime workmanship warranty
8. Warranty Limitations
Please note the following limitations:
- Warranties are void if unauthorized modifications are made
- Warranties do not cover consequential or incidental damages
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the original service
- Some products may have shorter warranty periods than our workmanship warranty
- Warranties may be void if installation instructions are not followed
9. Maintenance and Care
To maintain your warranty coverage:
- Follow all care instructions provided after installation
- Schedule regular maintenance as recommended
- Use only recommended cleaning products and methods
- Report any issues promptly
- Keep all documentation and receipts in a safe place

11. Updates to Warranty Terms
We reserve the right to update these warranty terms. Any changes will be posted on our website and will apply to new installations. Existing warranties will continue under the terms in effect at the time of installation.
